There seems to be quite alot of font design/editing software options around at the moment, from the simple to the advanced. I'm looking at a few options like Glyphs app, FontLab Studio and a few of the simpler options. Any recommendations, and reviews of the best out there at the moment?

I've never had the time to get super in-depth into font design, but the couple of fonts I recently made I did in Glyphs Mini and I really dug it (you also can't beat the price of $50). Robofont & FontLab just seemed too overwhelming for what I was looking to do.

I had TypeTool years ago and that was good enough for the level of font-editing I required.
I've since lost the bloody serial key though, haven't I?
I donated to a freebie one recently - https://birdfont.org/ - but beyond a very simple amend I needed to do on a font, I've not used it much.
- What I want is a full-spectrum plug-in for Illustrator - that would be ideal. No need for a font program to duplicate drawing tools.detritus
- Imbecile posted this recently - https://www.fontself… although I don't get the impression you can load existing fonts in and amend them.detritus
