But seriously, I'm also interested in what people think of Webflow. Always good to know what's out there.

I use it for prototyping, it's great. And on some occasions, live code.
After an hour of watching the tutorial vids I was off and running. By far the best way to test a design and content in a browser.
Tis the future I tell ye.

It's a good way of getting started. I wouldn't use it for client work.
But yeah to sketch up ideas. It's quick and easy.I used it for a portfolio site awhile ago. I have since taken it down because I just learned how to properly code it.

err - so it is shitty code?
I know alot of people on here are pureists - is the code bad bad?
- Most sites these days are fucking horrific when you look at the code, sadly - so much bulk in the form of frameworks, bloated css, JS and inline tags.detritus
- I wouldnt even say it's shitty code. Just sucks youre basically tied to that cms should you need to move it off or the client wants to host it themselves.dorkKn1ght

Just having checked a few Webflow sites - the code actually looks quite neat and lean.

Its actually really useful to see how to code and test out designs in a browser.
If you want just a simple one pager with breakpoints for each device. This is perfect.
You can also pay for it. And export your html. And yes its clean. (the html and css)
I think I started to outgrow it once i started getting into js stuff.
When you dig in their js code it can get really confusing fast. It's still clean. Buuut they add alot of stuff because all their widgets or what not have alot of options.Weird issues started happening. So I just started writing it myself.
I say use it! Just know if you want to get more advanced with js stuff you will start to run into problems.
