I have been making art everyday this year. I started because I felt like work and life have become very stagnant. I have been a designer/developer for the last 17 years and I get no satisfaction out of work anymore.
So far I have been really enjoying this personal project. It's helping me foucs on more than I thought it would.
Has anyone else done a year long daily challenge to boost their motivaion and creativity?

A few years a go, i drew a comic strip for wife and daugthers every morning... was fun. But i lost the habit.
Thinking on re-starting it... or something similar
Go on and continue whit it, you've got some good pieces on this page

I was an artist in my 20s, I enjoy just doing design now.

Some nice stuff there - well done.
Yep - I really don't get the same buzz from design and dev I used to - if I didn't have side projects I would go insane.

This is a fun project. Do you set aside a specific amount of time each day, or is it just free flow? Sounds like it has reinvigorated you to be more artistic. well done.

I took up calligraphy as an everyday practice to combat the monotony at work. It eventually turned into me painting large canvas's and skateboards. I definitely recommend having some sore out of passion project outside of work.
