What's the best way to license a web font for a client?
In the past I've used google fonts but am using Gotham for this and am doing some CSS i've never done before.Should I point them to typekit, or www.fontsquirrel.com? What's the best practice?
They will be pointing to it from the website. My developer is saying to host the fonts locally but that doesn't seem right + I don't want the fonts to come up in search results.

Gotham's from that lawyered up sueball cunt Hoefler, right?
Just do it legit through typography.com (= 'best practice') or choose a different font - there are a myriad of Gotham alternatives stemming from the days it wasn't available for web.

- I hope that you bought the web usage rights from Hoefler. If not, his dedicated team will find the fonts, sue you and your clients. That's how he do!utopian
