Are there any decent web hosts in Canada? This shit dollar is making me investigate. Either wordpress hosting or your usual stack. I've been eyeing digitalocean.com if we can't find anything in CDN $.

I use Peer1, both Dedicated and Cloud in their Toronto datacentre. They run their servers out of 141 Front St, which is one of the best data centres in Toronto. You can also search the tenants to find other hosts there:
- Peer1's site offers little in specifics or any sort of pricing. What are you paying and for what?ETM
- For the cloud service, you can price it here: https://ondemand.pee…spot13
- Make sure you select Toronto datacentre and ask to be billed in CAD or they charge USspot13
- ThanksETM

Also, I use Cirrus Tech for less important sites: http://www.cirrushosting.com/

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I want to pay someone in Canadian dollars. We spend about $1500 a month on hosting and right now that's more like $2144 CAD
- If you've got a bunch of customers, it's going to cost you WAY more than what you'll save to move. Maybe if you were paying 15k/mo, but even then, doubtful.monNom
- It took my last company about 3 months and $100k to move about 1000 customers. And we controlled most DNS.monNom
- Which is only $100/customer, but in order to make that back, and assume you could save 30%, you'll need 200 months before break-even.monNom
- Best thing to do is bill for hosting in USD. Most canadian hosts do this as their costs are all USD based.monNom
