The social network, looking for ways to woo new users, is reportedly planning to allow 10,000-character tweets by the end of March.

Twitter is dying, this sounds like a desperate move. Facebook will follow in time, the pleasure vs time spent on it is totally out of sync, its a habit. I know this isn't a widely held view but I do think social has a shelf life, or at least in its current forms.
