- Congrats WallStreetBetsNBQ00
- Damn, I saw this between $5-8 recently and suddenly it's over fucking $60. Some WSB plays really are doing well. GME still up too.NBQ00
- only doing well when they sell, profit, and fuck everyone else who helped them :)monospaced
- ^trueGuyFawkes
- ^yep. i'm just here for the free popcorn :D doing well here :)sted
- How did AMC become such a meme stock anyway. They're not that much of a joke. What am I missing?CyBrainX
- doesn't necessarily need to be a joke. AMC was down a lot because theaters were closed during the pandemic. Then WSB got on it for a squeezeNBQ00
- They didn’t like that the company was already failing before covid, and that covid might finish it off. So the nerds rallied behind stock. Funny.monospaced
- Same thing with GameStop, which was already poised to go under, the nerds just wanted their video games and marvel universe. That’s it.monospaced
- But most importantly, they didn’t like that hedge funds were shorting them en made, making millions from their demise, and then did the same thing. Hypocrites.monospaced
- Funny thing is that nothing holds back those Hedgies to play both sides...sted

Best stocks to invest in when the world opens for summer?
- Whatever's going to be similarly popular in Autumn, I guess.Nairn

- Oh sure. They have a future. But “of the day status” I’m afraid it was yesterday. Take a look at their chart to see.monospaced

How do you spot “hot” stocks on WSB early? I mean is there some kind of authority figure or posters with good track records?
All I see is constant noise and a lot of “diamond hands you apes” BS.
Where do you actually get the early picks there?
- don't bothermonospaced
- Ask your wife's boyfriend.palimpsest
- QBN. Shhhh_niko
- I've started watching your day trader video above, but before I finish it I want to add my 2¢. As someone who has no clue and just dabbles in the stock market,_niko
- it seems to me that if you have a large enough bankroll, say 100k, all you have to do is keep your ear to the ground and put your money on a stock that will_niko
- ...jump a meagre 1% and you've made $1000 which is a great daily income. Now if you do the same with $1m, you're making $10k/per day on only a 1% bump_niko
- the problem is, I'd imagine is that it's impossible to predict even a 1% bump in stock price unless you have insider knowledge. Apple release record earnings_niko
- Yeah niko, 1% a day theory is easy. Do you know how many billion-dollar hedge funds there are who keep losing money.NBQ00
- numbers and their stock took a dive. I've seen a few others do the same, so maybe it's a bit of a gamble after all._niko
- yeah NBQ00 exactly, if it were that easy, these hedge fund traders and other whales would be printing money, but it does seem like they do._niko
- @_niko more like they want way bigger returns; sure, what you said it's all good for a regular joe, but you need to do 5% to cover inflation, commissions, etc.grafician
- @_niko oh wait, you said 1% A DAY lol
so 20%/month? hmmmgrafician - Use trading view. Filter for relative volume and pre market gap. Look for what is moving towards extreme with those indicators.shapesalad
- You could also say if 1% a day was possible you could use compound trading and make trillion $$ in no time. If it was possible somebody would’ve already done itNBQ00
- I made more than $1,000 on just AAPL today alone.monospaced
- graf, 1% a day but not every day, so you have to pick a different stock or stocks to collectively make 1% and sell them. it seems easy. But I'm sure it's not_niko
- @_niko yeah, but that is not investing, that is very conservative day trading
@mono so you have $50k on AAPL? interestinggrafician - yeah graf, that's what I'm talking about, how possible it is to make 1k/day with a 100k bank roll conservatively selling after a 1% gain._niko
- @_niko $1-2K a day is very doable, with a little research upfront to pick a few stocksgrafician
- @graf, yes. I put $750 down a long time ago on 15 shares (estimates). It's now worth like $60K, and that's after I used a chunk to buy a house.monospaced
- I don't see how that's interesting though.monospaced
- I bought 50 shares when they released the iPhone. It split 7 to 1 in 2014, giving me 350 shares. Then 4 to 1 last year, giving me 1,400 shares.monospaced
- Follow mono - buy a good company with growth potential. Diversify. Then worry about gambling.formed
- Remember, "80% of day traders lose money over the course of a year with the median loss of -36.30%!" Day trading is a sucker's game.formed
- it's actually over 95% of daytraders losing moneyNBQ00
- Swing trading is better. Day trading needs a constant supply of expressos, high speed internet, super fast desktop pc, 20 monitors.shapesalad
- In the long run, you don't stand a chance.
The glamour of big returns and "diamond hands" is all marketing to attract new blood and dumb money.monNom - Nobody brags about slowly losing everything as they furiously double down and take larger risks trying to get back to even. You only ever see random lambo guy.monNom
- Because no matter what, you have inferior information compared tp the pros, or the pumper on reddit. If you're not in the club, you are their food.monNom

- Gold is holding steady. RGLD is doing nicely, as are several blue chips. Diversify or die.formed
- lol graf, why are you posting only AMERICAN market info? How is this relevant to you?monospaced
- ^bcuz he's a troll? and has no life, therefore plenty of free time for trollingcherub
- @mono what a stupid question - would you prefer I post Japanese stocks? Or even worse, French?grafician
- @cherub buddy, you clearly have it against me, why don't go and do something useful with your life, please, you're not importantgrafician
- oh, I prefer American, because that's the exchanges I trade on. I don't give a fuck about the Japanese or French markets, because they aren't relevant to memonospaced
- My question isn't weird, though. Why would a Romanian follow strictly American markets/exchanges?monospaced
- Seriously? lol the ENTIRE WORLD trades mostly american stocks, don't you know that? or?grafician
- I find it actually odd that you never post anything, you simply comment - a lot...grafician
- and again, I find it odd that you're amazed that I post or know so much about America or whatever, but in Europe we know a lot of stuff about a lot of stuffgrafician

- The ego is strong with this one.
There are at least 3 photos of Jessica Alba on every single page.utopian - Ok, but there is also a fat green line under the 1 Year filternb
- I mean I get it. If I look at all the tiny grey numbers it makes sense. But that fat green line! It’s called UX vs UI look it upnb
- yeah if you set the chart on a new stock to yearly it will look like this. google just predicts the stocks future and it's always a crash.sted

@NBQ biggest #lossporn
- Yeah but it‘s not really his own money, plus it‘s a hedgie :)NBQ00
- But it was his own money, watch the video it's shortgrafician
- I thought he got the initial money from various places and people, no?NBQ00
- he ran a family office meaning he used $10B of his own money and lost over $100B allegedly total.
So these guys with $100-300k losses are nothing literallygrafician - No, he lost about $10B, not 100B. Also $300K-500K for average joe is A LOT of money to lose. Especially when its loans.NBQ00
- Taking a loan to start a business is good leverage. Taking a loan to put some calls on meme stocks is madnessgrafician
- NBQ000
Just mindboggling that some people (and mostly amateur traders/ investors) have $100K-$500K or more to put into a single options trade that has short term expiration and often expires worthless the next day if it doesn‘t land in the money.
- In this example somebody lost $350K on a wrong Call bet.NBQ00
- Leverage?grafician
- So they have maybe $10k with 1:5, 1:10, 1:30, 1:50 or even 1:100 leveragegrafician
- Remember the recent Archegos fiasco? Same thing.
https://www.coinspea…grafician - Nah, not all. Also if on margin and a loss of $350K is even worse than losing only what you own and put in.NBQ00

My biggest play is $NIO
hold it 5-10 years for a 3x to 5x bagger
- oh no bennn, don't invest in meme stocks for the long term. that bubble is going to pop hard and it will happen suddenly.sarahfailin
- dont worry, NIO isnt a meme, i've made lots of DD on it.Bennn
- Been investing for over 30 years (UK). If you think you can forecast 5-10 years you better have a good plan B because you'll need it.comicsans

"Why Nio Stock Fell Almost 15% in March"nb - Answer: Bennn invested in itnb
- How deep? What does that mean? A monetary value?monospaced
- Didn’t you just make your first trades this year?monospaced
- by deep i meant my attention and time is on investing like 4 to 7 hours a day lolBennn
- lol, if you're spending that much time on it, you're doing it wrong man :)monospaced
- I spend like 5 minutes a day on it. Are you seriously day trading?monospaced
