JS carousel question

I'm working on modifying/updating a microsite that I didn't build. I have a page that has a carousel on it.... but this version of the site only has 1 item in the carousel. I can't actually get rid of the carousel itself entirely because it's being used elsewhere.
When viewed on mobile, you can keep swiping the item in the carousel and it keeps repeating, which is more of an annoyance than anything else. Not really a big issue, but is there a way from looking at what I have to just somehow turn off the swiping feature? I have no idea how any of this works.

it will be in here:
slideSelector:"",infiniteLoop:!0... / ",pagerSelector:null,buildPager...
I imagine the touch enable option should be turned off although it is set to 0. Havent used this one before. But just go through those settings and setting to zero or null anything that mnay be related to touch etc.
- sorry cut off the code - its in the bunch of code starting with that on the left.fadein11

Oh ok. Right now it does infinite loop, which is what I want to turn off, but that value being set to 0, wouldnt that make it NOT infinite loop? So Im not even sure what I should change.

Basically Im looking to turn the touch controls off.

Actually - those are the default settings - you need to use jquery in your HTML page to specify the settings for that particular slider.
Full documentation and examples here:
http://bxslider.com
- fadein110
touchEnabled
If true, slider will allow touch swipe transitions
default: true
options: boolean (true / false)

Or if its just one image - why not remove the slider on that page and just add the image.
- Because the whole thing is built to be responsive right now.CygnusZero4
- its so easy to make images responsive mate...
img {width: 100%;}fadein11

I am not a programmer man. I literally know nothing about this stuff. Talk to me like I have no brain cells. What exactly do I need to do. Telling someone who doesnt program at all to look at documentation is not helping me. It will take me days to figure this out that way and Ill probably end up breaking everything.

Take off the carousel and add a JPG. BOOM.
- CygnusZero40
There is responsive text on top of the image. How would turning this all into an image be beneficial at all?
- docpoz0
Lose the responsive text and incorporate it into your JPG. Cmon , man do i have to do your job for you?
- CygnusZero40
^ Have you ever worked on a website before??? This is pretty much the worst suggestion ever. That is exactly how you DONT build websites these days. Good job dude.
- CygnusZero40
Fade11 is on the right track to fixing this properly, I just need more details about what to actually do. Your idea completely sucks though so hit the road chump!

" ^ Have you ever worked on a website before???"
Have you?
Pretty cheeky to answer like this given the school boy nature of the questions you ask here.. especially when, as I assume, you are charging some client for supposedly professional services?
- Are you my client? Didnt think so champ. You have no helped, so I dont need to talk to you a certain way.CygnusZero4

CygnusZero sucks.
- Says the dude that has never worked on a responsive site in his life. Still lol-ing @ "turn it into an image" hahahahahahaaCygnusZero4
- I would have totally rocked it, so u dont know shitdocpoz
- With an image on a responsive site? YEah sounds like it lmfao.CygnusZero4
- whatever....docpoz
- CygnusZero40
Figured it out, and didnt take the ghetto "merp, just turn it into an image" route.
- docpoz0
whatever, man. post your brilliance.
- If you dont have a good idea, why waste your time even suggesting dumbass ideas to me? You were literally of no use to me, so all you did was waste your time.CygnusZero4
- seeing you act like an asshole is of much use to me.docpoz

This is the same fucking guy if he struggles with getting a video to work on a page, is probably like "merp, turn it into a GIF!"
I was more interested in fixing the problem properly than finding some jackhole way out of dealing with it and ruining the responsiveness of the site.
I figured out what to do with what Fade11 suggested. It didnt make sense to me at first because Im not a javascript guy.

post your work or GTFO

can't you all just hug and make up (no tongues)
- fadein111
Wow - this escalated quickly - QBN in full effect.
Glad you got it sorted. I am guessing you added the jQuery to the page with the touch property turned off?
