I have some old issues of iDN, Creative Review and @CreateOnline magazine going back to the 90s.
I've tried putting them on eBay with no successful sale.
Can anyone suggest any other good places to sell these? Any where frequented by design folk would be ideal. I guess there just not enough going to eBay.

I have issue#1 of MTV's mag Blah from back then too - put it on eBay thinking someone would jump at it but no luck.
I've got a few issues of @CreateOnline that I'm in but chucked all the rest. I think people are only going to be interested in them if an article or feature is of interest to them and that may be the way to sell them - i.e in the product title have designers names.
e.g THE DESIGNERS REPUBLIC issue of Creative Review
kind of thing.

Unfortunately these type of magazines are 'keepers'. We have shelves of CR, Design Week, Asian Babes going back to the mid-eighties. Most studios/creatives keep them for reference. Even the old ones are quite common and are subsequently difficult to get any money for as they're worth relatively little.

Yeah, the best course of action is to scan in anything you find interesting or want to keep, then send them to recycling - the price you get for selling will be wiped out by any postage.
- In my experience, at least.face_melter
- may as well keep them rather than waste weeks going through them and scanning them. stupid idea.fadein11

You give them to your local high school and get a tax break.

reminds me of my aunty who has bookcases full of old national geographic magazines, who is also convinced that they are some sort of gold mine.
magazines are dead media, no one cares
- magazines are having a big resurgence at the moment and so they should.fadein11

you probably won't believe me but try reddit,
if you want to do it the sneaky way,
take a picture of your artwork and name the thread some bs title like:
"My girlfriend/wife/autistic brother made this for me"then post a very nice picture of your work
Or you can go legit with the dozen art subreddit

good luck

Thanks for the advice. I'll try reddit.
To be honest, I'd be happy to just give them away to someone. If they picked up the postage. I'd rather someone else had them as a good resource that helped me in the past than they end up recycling bin.
