Drawing tablet or iPad app?

Yello,
Are there any decent apps that you can use to allow you to draw on your iPad whilst syncing with photoshop etc, effectively making your iPad a drawing tablet? I've tried a couple but they were both laggy and impossible to use.
Or is a Wacom still the way to go?
Cheers

can't really compare apps to a wacom.
pressure sensitivity and resolution are way better on the tablets.

Everything I've ever heard is that they are still too laggy to replace a Wacom.

This has been getting some press recently: http://astropad.com/
Could be handy if you need something for travelling, but for serious work I would always recommend a Wacom.

The pain in the ass isn't the ipad apps, there's a few good drawing ones out there. It's the stylus thats the shitter. They've all got huge nibs so you cant see what you are drawing.
There is one that uses a clear disc at the top of the nib to still give a large contact area but allows you to see what you are drawing though.

What about the Adobe mobile apps? I think they're new to CC 2015.
Here's Photoshop Mix but they don't show any drawing features.

Is there any android app that has the dodge and burn tool like photoshop?

Pressure sensitivity is the next big feature on the upcoming iPhones, will surely be on iPad too

I've tried a few tablet, app and stylus combos and none of them compare to the control you get with a Wacom. There's a few that are fine for sketching but you still have to spend £50+ on a stylus to get a fluid result.

The cintiqs have parallax issues except the companion. The surface pro was pretty good.
