This is why people believe in God. It's a easy story to explain.

so are you gonna pass that shit or what

Because if there was nothing, there'd be no one there to ask the question “Why is there something, rather than nothing?”, and with space being infinite, at some point there must be something.
It's statistically impossible for there not to be.
The scary thing is, what other somethings are there? imagine — somewhere out there is a something described completely by nothing.
Somewhere out there, Hell does is exist.
.
Perhaps it's in here?

the double slit experiment has been debunked... particles are both matter and wave, nothing to do with the observer.
shit exists because it can, if there wasn't anything this question would also not exist..
i'm sorry, you live in a universe and a dimension where things exists rather than not

thanksgeorgesIII - haha I love it. People will see the word "debunked" somewhere and then tell everyone "oh it's been debunked". Fuck off.set
- dude, the double slit experiment showed that 'light' behaves as both a particle and a wave. particles are already matter - you paraphrased badlyGnash
- the observer thing has to do with quantum flux.Gnash
- a little knowledge is a dangerous thing... drink deep or not at allGnash
- theres a thing called quantum woo, is when people relate quantum weirdness with the physical world, and quantum stuff happens at quantum level... bahhfeel
- i'll post another video belowfeel

Also, how does a photon KNOW it is being observed, and change its behaviour in the double-slit experiment!!?? FFS.
