I work on html emails here and there for clients, and have been having issues with O13 ever since it came out.

If I build an email at 600px wide, then send it from O13 and deliver to O13, the email will be 749px.

I've googled and tried various fixes, using inline styles and whatnot, nothing worked. Found a lame fix which is launching outlook in safe mode which I didnt even know was a thing, and isn't convenient since it disables other aspects of outlook.

I know O13 uses word as its rendering engine. Anyone have any idea what the deal is with these table and image widths not being displayed properly?

I've never had that issue unless I had an overlooked table width or column or the wrong size set in the html img tag width and height when dealing with hidpi/retina images.

It sounds like something is forcing the container to be too large. Putting a debug line of css ("outline: 1px solid aqua") on all your tds and sending another test might help illustrate where this is happening.

Well I found out what the room of the problem is. If you right click on the desktop and go to screen resolution, there is a little text link there make text and other items larger or smaller.

Well even though ive never seen seen this setting before, the option for medium/125% was selected, which isnt even the default setting! 100% is default..... at least on my machine.

Here is the kicker... checked this setting on a friends windows laptop, and 100% was NOT the default setting for him. Meaning on his machine, 125% had "(default)' next to it. Now how in the fuck is that possible???? 2 different PCs, both HPs, each have their own default display setting? Uhhhh.......
