yes, it's amazing what rendering power you have access to in a browser nowadays. it's funny though they use it for some weird eye catching effects that are not useful at all, except for some people that will think they are amazing because they installed a library and made something move on the screen.
that demo needs more lens flare effect though!

Aye, like all basic effects, when used clumsily like in the example above, they're pretty fucking naff.
Just like bevel and emboss filters in the olden days.
Used subtly though..? Some of the halftoning and pixellation filters are cool. I wonder what other effects are availble too?
