I had some thick business cards made through them couple years back. They ended up separating. Maybe they've improved now. Caveat emptor.

I'd choose a local specialist over moo. You pay the same for better quality, quantity and customer service.
Especially if you want letterpress, foils, triplex etc.
These guys are good...
http://a14printfinishing.co.uk- can i order direct from that site? looks like a project portfolio siteHijoDMaite

You could spend $600 at https://www.oubly.com/premium-bu… and get the following.
700 32pt. bright white business cards printed on both sides with a custom finish and custom edge colors.
- Thanks for bumping the moo thread. Forgot how good they were. Going to order some more moo cards now.set
- pro tip - don't order print from a greenspammerFax_Benson

I was digging through some samples from a year or two ago, and noticed that all of the duplexed Moo cards (the LUXE ones) had delaminated. These weren't handled roughly or stored in damp or heat or anything, so I can only presume the glue degrades over time.
Just a heads up if you're considering them.

I have a photographer friend who just got some nice cards from MOO, but they were a bit too magenta. Anyone else have color issues with Moo? ... and / or maybe its her uncalibrated monitor?

They do the standard UK size.
Got some recently and they were off centre by an amount I would consider unacceptable for someone working in a visual field.
Apart from that print and card quality was good for the turn around.

are they still only offering the non-conventional size? or maybe it's the euro standard bcard dimension...
I dunno but its a deal breaker for me. too bad. ordered their cards and holder when they were running that free facebook promo a few years ago. nice quality for bulk/online printing.

- luxe: nice paper, decent print, the colored edge is underwhelming, great customer service, overall B+ for mejuanluisgarcia

Moo rocks....never had a problem with them.

I went ahead and placed a Luxe order with 3 different designs. Also bought their ShowCase business card holder. Might come across as gimmicky but between that and the thicker feel of the card itself, it'll make for a memorable first impression.
thanks for the feedback, gang!

Looking at the company linked below, its $210 for 2 sided white foil stamping, 150 cards. Is that a decent deal? Sorry I know nothing about this stuff.
- Also, what exactly is white foil? Is it a matte white, or shiny?CygnusZero4
- Id be fine with a clean matte white on a black paper that actually looks black.CygnusZero4
- Seems ok for the pricing (but I don't really know). There are a ton of different kinds of foils, metallic, etc. Ask for an example or what they offer.formed
- ^^ white foil is available as high gloss, matte, or semi-glossGnash
- This rock design place charges for samples =/CygnusZero4

i just ordered a small run of 50 cards with the luxe thingy in blue. i rarely hand out cards so sets of 50 or 100 is good enough for me. great customer service as well

Lol this site charges like $600 for 100 premium black cards with white foil. Any way to get this cheaper somewhere?
- CygnusZero40
- also is moo of the same quality as that pic? if not, who would be considered a great business card printer?CygnusZero4
- that looks like white foil on a black card - although it could be anything under all that blurring and colouring.Fax_Benson
- My cards are white foil on black paper. Looks amazing, get compliments every time I give them out. But they cost about $1.50 each. Moo is nowhere near that nice (I've printed the same design via Moo)formed
- what site do you use?CygnusZero4
- I use(d) a local company and spent time at the shop making sure the stamps looked great (different pressure, different foils, etc.)formed

I used printshaq.com based in Florida.

I have a question about moo. Can you do one color full bleed on one side, then another color full bleed on the other?
