I don't know about the lenovo screens. it just happens that two housemates of mine have lenovo thinkpads and I was checking on them because my girlfriend wants to buy a new computer.
I came across the carbon but find other options also interesting, like the yoga.I have an old mac and am more than decided that when this one dies the next will be a mac too, probably second hand.
have also linux installed in my mac, dual boot, and I'm totally not ready to fully change to linux.

- not comparable to retina, but the guy is a programmer/linux freak and doesn't care about that detail. can not help you further.oey
