I didn't realize there was so much training going on in prisons. This is great.

I'd be taking every class I could. What else is there to do? Besides sodomy, toilet wine and working out.

No worries...roughly 60% of U.S. prisoners will be back in jail with 9 months of their release.
- I'll bet most of the prisoners who take courses end up in the 40% category.nb

It's a small percentage of prisoners nation-wide that get to take classes behind bars. I'd guess 10% or less. Quick googling didn't give me any answers

Is this a celebration of the prison industrial complex? cause we have finally arrived?

We already spend way too much on prisons. I get the metanlity, but until I see my student loans decreased, or at least the interest lower (my mortgage is almost a point lower), I have little enthusiasm for "free" education for others. That includes Obama's community college freebe.
How about those of us that work our asses off get some nice breaks??
