I wonder if Bloomberg's business demographic is going to like it?
- I think thats the point - the demographic is evolving and has been for some time.fadein11

The new site is a cross between CNN's grid and layout, and Yahoo's sporadic use of animated gifs and bizarre color palettes.
Part of me likes it and the other part just vomited in my mouth.

I love the Venture Beat article headline "Bloomberg Business’ new site design is beautifully bizarre — and it’s begging for haters".

I'll say it - A smart and brand consistent move by some talented mother fuckers I'd hire today and pay extremely well. High class hookers being part of the bonus structure.

Homepage looks really nice, good use of color. Once you click through to an article it's a little hard to tell the difference from any other news site. They seem to all be converging towards a common format, but maybe that's just what works.

Like it. Aside from scrolling issues which I think may be down to this problem version of Chrome.

It's nice once you scroll down past the retina burning blue and pink and the text overlaying the main image

Looks like they're trying to appeal to millennials and failing gloriously.

I like it. Bloomberg has hired some great designers internally recently. They won studio of the year from Creative Review a couple of years ago - great article about them here:
