Ok, this is weird.
Was looking through a portfolio of mine and the greyscale photos now seem to have what looks like a red filter over them?
How could this happen? they were perfectly fine when originally printed? so weird.

Black ink is made from many colors and some fade fast. Also paper can affect prints over time. It's jus low quality non archival affects.

So cheap ink and paper? would make sense seen as I'm not using official Canon ink in my printer.
- Yup. Simple.monospaced
- You can get ph balanced archival paper and inks for longer lasting results.monospaced

Instagram sells that effect.

I was worried for a sec that the toxic gas from my Dogs farts were starting to get so bad that it was effecting my prints.
I mean, that would have also explained why my cat committed suicide with a shotgun using its toe on the trigger.

Or maybe your critical eyes just got better over time :)
If you want print/press greyscale colours in CMYK mode a rule of thumb is to have 10-15% more Cyan than Yellow and Magenta in the middle tones of your "grey" tones. Don't ask me why.
This can be corrected with the "Selective colour" from Adjustments editing in the "Neutrals"- Can someone repost his comment in brail? lol jk thanks for the tip bro!sem
