    100k is way too much.

    Omnicom worldwide employees 71,100.
    Ogilvy has about 2400 employees in US.
    AKQA has 1600 worldwide.
    Ogilvy NY has about 1500.
    R/GA NY has about 600.

    You would need
    100 agencies x 1000 people = 100,000

    100k is not many people in nyc, that is a small block in itself.. is that the size of the area that ad people work in?? i doubt it.. it must be bigger than a block.. although korea town is only 1 real block long.. you have to imagine there is much more than 100k people there.. so i think your estimation is off.. by a lot

    I just had a discussion with a friend regarding the number of people employed in The Advertising world* in NYC and I estimated it at being around 100,000 people. What's your guess?

    *Full service agencies, digital, boutique.
    Not incl. PR, production companies or Media agencies.
