Que en paz descanse. Bastante sufrió con esos 4 años en coma.
All these deaths are making me feel old....

I remember running into him at a few clubs in buenos aires, 8am shades on, and a light blue suit. never had the courage to go talk to him though. I went to see him at his last performance in LA before he went to venezuela, so sad.

This song reminds me of my end of school trip from 7th grade.
first time going to clubs on my own, first time out of town with my friends from school, we played this cassette tape over an over on my friend's shitty boombox in our hotel room.

Seeing this thread here, made me happy. This by far, hits home more than any other celebrity death, ever.
Listening to his music, made me realized how broken hearted I am to realize there is nothing more.I grew up listening to Soda Stereo and I pretty much got to see a show from every tour in the late 80's and nineties. Saw his solo acts in Guadalajara, LA, OC and Tijuana, lol what can I say, I was a fan. If he was playing I was there, so much fun.
Farewell, maestro. GRANDE Cerati!
and what started it all for me...
Rest in peace Gustavo Cerati.

MAESTRO.
Sad, yet happy at the same time that I was fortunate enough to discover and grow up with true musicians like him, when my kids now have Kesha or Pitbull.
I was telling my son today that I was his exact same age when I heard "Cuando Pase el Temblor" for the first time, and how I still get chills and beautiful memories every time I hear it.
Rest in peace.
- I grew up with spanish rock too. Soda Stereo, Los Prisioneros.. etc. Sadly music nowdays is not the same.johanito
- Ha! Los Prisioneros was IT. Soda, Charly Garcia, Caifanes (Ceci), Enanitos Verdes... we were lucky :)OSFA
- yep. for me it was soda and caifanes. a few years later cafe tacuba, in that order. ;)sea_sea
- Cadillacs?OSFA
