Safari developer David Hyatt states, 'the average Web designer isn't going to know or care about validation as long as WinIE displays the website adequately. The only way you can make the average Web designer care is to get in his face with the obvious errors. The browser has to make a face and refuse to eat the swill that is being force-fed to it, or the average designer is simply going to shrug and say, "Well, close enough.".'
