Looking for economical printing for large/jumbo postcards (or something simple, won't be mailed).
Anyone try Vista recently? I've always shied away, but they are cheap.
Others I am looking at:
Moo.com (their Luxe cards I had made were 'ok', not as impressive as I had hoped) and Modern Postcard (decent experience 8 years ago).
Any others? These will not be mailed out. Quality is most important.

agree with you on moo.com, i wasn't impressed with my set, but it depends on what you're printing. they used to do a bang up job years ago.
are there any local print houses where you're at?

yeah, there are some, but I've not had any better luck with them (worse, honestly). These are just quick handout/postcards things, so no need for fancy, just good quality.

The best way to get good quality is through the stock, in my opinion. Best advice is to use a place that offers a heavy, uncoated (or just not gloss or coated), stock with decent quality color. Just my opinion, but I've only used local print on demand, not the online gigs.

I use 4by6 for business cards and postcard often, the satin finish costs more but has a nice surface and substantial feel to it.

Thanks. I've used 4x6 many times, nice feel to the cards, but the colors aren't the greatest on the satin finish (for photo-postcards), only small sizes.
JG - how's the quality for ndf?
- don't use satin finish? adjust your colors for process output?monospaced
- The satin makes the colors look muted, nothing you can do about thatformed
