Who here uses it? just noticed there is a 'Frodo' version released. Have clearly not checked the updates for a while.
For those of you wise enough to use this, what are your fav repos?

Ehm, what platform do you want to run in on?

Is it better than plex?

In a word, YES.
I started out on Plex, then tried XBMC on a random and have never gone back. There are many advantages, but the main over Plex is that you don't have to download content.
Once you have the right video addons (which you can find at XBMC Hub after installing) then you just stream everything. So no more need for huge HD space, and you'll be able to enjoy more as the right add-ons have everything and more.
- And you can get skins, customise your player etc so from a design aspect its miles better.sem

Install:
I have this installed on my Macbook Pro, PC (I have this hooked up to my tv), Nexus 7 tablet. I also have it on my jailbroken Apple TV (Gen 2) and iPhone. Choose your platform from the the homepage.
Configure
Once installed, click on "Configure" to set up your xbmc. Basically, it will install a lot of good add ons to help you stream TV, Movies, and a bunch of goodies.
After you do these two steps, (install and configure) you're good to explore your new set up. You can also link to your TV, Movies, Music, and Pictures on your computer. Addons are good for streaming content over the interwebs.
Addons work just like how you would use a website to stream content. You either have to wait 30seconds or type a captcha to get access to the content. If you click on a link, just wait and see what happens. The links don't work all time time, but you usually have a couple of links to try if nothing happens.
Addon's I use all the time:
Project Free TV
Basically streams the latest tv shows. Usually wait the next day to watch last night's line ups.

Yep, have it installed on an Ouya, and it fucking owns. The quality isn't as good as cable, but I don't think there's anything I haven't been able to find on it yet.
