Anyone using this or is it another pointless app to justify the costs of creative cloud?

Doesn't work in IE8.

I've used it for animations. Works great. I'd say it's a nice little app for the pretty low price of CC, and it integrates with Muse very nicely.

- I never got into Flash or traditional alternatives, and was super stoked to play with Edge as a perk to my subscriptionmonospaced

Anyone using this for device testing? I'm trying to find a plugin where I can control multiple devices to show the same content for testing. Anyone know of any other cheaper alternative?

I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but with adobe edge, isn't it better to use javascripting and jquery?

I used it for a little bit. Its like a dumbed down after effects for the web. I think it's great for banner ads, games, and things self contained in a box on a web page. As far as doing actual interactive pages it was pretty good, even responsive. But my dev team hated trying to actually implement the code it spit out.

Yeah, i'm an old school designer who uses Flash/Greensock to prototype animations and interactions. I'm hoping I can finally drop Flash and make more use of Edge Animate to achieve similar results. I'm useless at coding, though, so I would kind of like to stay in a more visually based application. Anyone have any experience in using Edge for this kind of thing?
