flashy and minimal yes, but you loose the context of the form fields unless they are focused. Use caution

Yes, not the most accessible thing in the world but that's not really the point here. The point is to add some flare. Depends on your users, and the type of form. This would be best for something like a contact form with only a few fields. thanks for the feedback

Heres my two cents how to improve it;
fields are visible before clicking them, the flip happens from grey field to green/red field after validation. The validation happens when you leave the field (or animates live while typing, think of password strength..)
