We need you to sign this petition.
The United States has in almost all restaurants and stores, Root Beer for sale. So too should the United Kingdom.
Even if you are not a fan of root beer, surely you are a fan of freedom and the right to choose whatever beverage you like.
Please sign the petition.

In other countries in Europe they sell Beer in McDonalds and other Fast Food outlets.
SURELY we'd be better petitioning for proper BEER rather than a soft drink!??!

It can be found in a few places in high priced small quantities. I say it's time it gets as much shelf space as coke.
- Coke is bottled locally, they have 6 plants in the UK and employ 4500 people. They also pay for those shelves.kingsteven
- not that I drink it... love root beer, and can get it locally... just sayingkingsteven

Its unhealthy, thats why its not overly stocked. Much like why we don't have Lucky Charms etc in supermarkets anymore.
I agree it should be our choice, but the chains have to try and promote healthier stuff as if they care for their customers (despite selling tons of coke, sugar, cigarettes, alcohol etc) I think the "This shits making my kid hyper" stuff has been taken off.
But Cyber Candy £1.60 a bottle aint bad. There is the alcoholic stuff also (which is almost everywhere)
- More unhealthy than cola, innocent smoothies or monster energy drinks that are stocked everywhere?animatedgif
- Proper organic fermented root beer is wonderfully healthy.set
- Lucky Charms are no longer available?freedom

What's wrong with a nice Dandelion and Burdock? That's pretty much the UKs rootbeer.
Failing that you could always neck a couple of mouthfuls of TCP for a similar taste sensation.

i though this thread was about set giving away free root beer

Tesco etc aren't going to give a shit unless they can sell large quantities of it. I'd have thought it would be better to ask local, independent retailers. Or, as others have alluded, just carbonate your own piss.

Root beer=carbonated Listerine... eech

Supply vs demand.
As much as I like the stuff, the market for astandard carbonated beverages appears to have long-since settled into uniformity, otherwise Fentimans would be doing a lot better, I suspect...
- hans_glib0
Coca-Cola 6x330ml £3.55 (£0.59p each)
Fentimans traditional curiosity cola 275ml £1.19may have more to do with it

I am not sure any United States restaurants have it.
