I'm well aware of the likes of Spoonflower.com,
and printing onto light textiles. But what about Wool Fabric Printing/Weaving.
How does one accomplish something like
this:

dye it

The More I think about it,
I guess what Im asking is what is the official name of the process of designing onto Woven Textiles.

2002,
Dying is a bit . . . . unwieldy. I personally was
hoping for the type of machine that creates these
so that I can google them.

We used to do sports jerseys using dye sub printing. Dunno if it would work with blankets though.

yeah, is it sublimated? That could be it. Sort of like offset, but with big huge rollers.

Dye sublimation only works on synthetics. Here's a great breakdown:

You could use a gelatin monoprinting plate and a cut vinyl resist for the letters https://www.pinterest.com/dianeh…

You want a design on wool fabric, but don't want the design woven in?
I think the best way would to have it woven in. Jacquard.

How many are you making?

Call your local art college and ask the head of the textiles department.
