I just had fresh caught Bluefin Tuna last weekend. My roommate shot it on saturday and I ate it right off the fish that night. The next day we had bluefin sashimi feast.
I should probably be glowing in the dark now, right? Maybe I'll become a superhero or something.

Your Days of Eating Pacific Ocean Fish Are Over At the Very Least

anywhere from 300 to possibly over 450 tons of contaminated water that contains radioactive iodone, cesium, and strontium-89 and 90, is flooding into the Pacific Ocean from the Fukushima Daichi site everyday.

its already hit Hawaii, Alaska, NZ, and some of the west coast. its also going to effect south america's coast as well. give this 5-7 years or so.
Then we'll be glad we put reactors right on the water.- actually that link was taken down because i believe it was showing wave height not radiation

Radiation in low doses is healthy

The radiation levels presented by the increased cesium concentrations contribute to an overall 3% higher than natural background radiation level.
The FDA Derived Intervention Level (DIL) for radioactive cesium isotopes in food is 1200 Bq/kg... the detected levels were 5 Bq/kg
If you eat tuna at the DIL every day for a year, you are looking at an estimated 1/4,400 increased risk of cancer. So, if you eat the tuna with current cesium levels every single day for a year, you're looking at a risk somewhere in the range of one in a million (rough estimate)

> Immediately off my diet
I don't get the complaints - this is a seafood that practically cooks itself.

Another reason to leave tuna alone and choose something else. There are plenty more fish in the sea ... ba-dum-tish.
