Hello!
So, I've recently redesigned my site: yetimade.com, and I was wondering what you guys thought. Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I like the colors and love the illustrations.
It looks like it would scroll on click and be responsive, it does neither of these. Considering you display mobile work in your portfolio, I'm surprised this isn't mobile compatible upon reading "web design is your jam".
You might want to step down or up that SourceSansProReg text size. It's distorted on Win 7 Chrome at its current size.
The side navigation icon you're using has recently been reserved for mobile navigation menus, to put work examples in there seems out of place like you're making me hunt for it (why not just say work or projects instead of that icon?).
The fact that scroll on click exists within that content, but you leave the user to use the fly open side navigation to continue browsing your case studies feels like excessive clicking, especially in contrast to the slide down contact window which seems more aesthetically pleasing.
Overall, nice work and presentation. The navigation / content outline doesn't seem well thought out though.
- i retract my "return to side nav" statement now that i notice the next / previous buttons at the bottomalbums

Thanks for your feedback! I had some of the same concerns myself, so it's good to see these bubbling up.

Very nice and friendly. I like it. Great decision to use no black anywhere.

Lovely,
color scheme is pretty nice and I like that you didn't cram a wall of text,
I actually clicked to read more,
project pictures (stock?) are well made enough to display your work in real situation,
good site man,
ps: I also like the hidden project tab on the right,

nice, my firefox on win7 screen shakes if I keep my mouse hovered over your social icons in the footer. It only does it on project pages, not any top nav pages - odd
- That is a strange behavior. Thanks for letting me know so I can look into it.YetiMade

Just had a couple questions:
• Did you set up a favicon or homescreen image for mobile phones? If not, make em!
• How many font-family's (families?) are you working with, throughout? The icons are fantastic as is the flow of the site, tho careful what you tweet?

OSX, Chrome, Bluetooth mouse.
I don't like the hold of the scroll on the pages, you have the flick it hard to get to the next section.

Guys,
All of your feedback is so useful! I really appreciate everyone who's taken a moment to go through my site and give me their feedback.
Best,
YetiMade

I don't like that you are hiding/obscuring the most important aspect of your site with the "hamburger" icon. I would seriously consider a "Projects" or "Work" label and use the slide-out concept to allow people to navigate across projects. Otherwise, you have a clean, concise portfolio.

Beautiful. Nice and clean.. this is the kind of flat design that is done right. Love the illustrations so much, is that all you? Do you blog / instagram / etc? I want to see more of that style!
Only thing I can say is this bugs me like cray: Y etiMade - just gotta kern that puppy and it's golden.

Great work Yeti.
Colorful, well balanced and functional!

In Firefox, the social icons down the bottom are causing massive scrollbars on hover. I believe it's the 9999 negative text-indent, which is spinning around when it rotates...
You could wrap the text in a <span> then just display:none that.
- Or just use a different hover effect, that rotate is a bit naff.Juddly

I think everyone has touched on the design aspects of your new website, so I'd like to talk about your brand.
Why does your avatar yeti guy have his eyes closed? Is he blind? How can he design if he can't see? These are the details creative directors will get caught up in.
The copy isn't going anywhere either... ya gotta be more conceptual, right now that Yeti could be anything that is not civilized.

IS IT RESPONSIVE YET?

Couldn't agree more. It's a very refreshing design. Great job!

You have a typo (actually a missing word) in the first sentence of the Copart case study.

This may have been said already, but the scroll bars go loco when hovering over your social icons in IE and Mozilla.

Firefox still a little buggy, works fine in Safari.
