Not buying any of it. Kim is an even bigger bullshit artist than Trump is. And he hates us as much as ISIS does. I believe this is all a ruse to ease pressure around him, and then he will snap right back to being who he really is.
He's playing Trump, and really everyone for fools. He's not a dumb guy and clearly knows how to manipulate. I mean the guy manipulates an entire nation at will. I think whats going on is they are done with their missile tests, he's happy with the progress, and now he's putting on a little act to weaken everyone around him, Trump, South Korea, China, etc.
The guy is fucking nuts and very hateful, but he's not stupid either. Scary combination in a dictator. Hitler was the same exact way. He was not a dumb guy. He was evil, but not dumb. Kim is cut from a similar cloth. Kim runs propaganda on local TV show random vids he put together of them blowing up the white house lmao.
- Kim got da after effectz skillz?!microkorg
- I dont buy it either. Its all suspicious. He went from black to white without going to the greys.. in a snap! its not normal.Bennn
- Its all political game and strategies for sure.Bennn
- Naw he blew up and collapsed that mountain, serious radioactive fallout could occur, he needs help quick!robotron3k
- robo, now even your comments have the same cadence as a trump tweet. SAD!monospaced

I dont understand the sudden change of attitude from North Korea... Its stange. They were all war war war, missiles tests and nuclear development and now they're all peace and reunion with the South. Is there a trap somewhere?
- Because of sanctions, Trump's pressure, US/SK military drills. NK knows it could've led to possible war/ invasion and end of their regime.M01XXX
- Because their nuke mountatin imploded and as China's poodle they're doing their bidding to undermine the US Hegemony in Asia.detritus
- Or, you know, Kim Jong really wants an Arby's franchise to open up in Pyongyang.detritus
- Something happend in the backstage that we will never knowBennn
- Rodmandocpoz
- An orchestrated, strategically planned pseudo crisis. China is North Korea's most important trading partner and main source of food and energy.maquito
- +1 for use of the word, HegemonyGnash
- US and china are also partners >> transitive. World economy. "Keep them confused". Producing, mobilizing and allocating resources to sustain violence and fear.maquito
- A permanent Ouroboros that was kept world economy moving for centuries.maquito
- ^
Or as detritus said. But it's Wendy's, cause Rodman's fave.maquito - They ran out of food.
Or that kpop music they play at the border is finally working.pango - Yeah, it has to be some kind of back channel agreement, drop the nuke program and we'll remove sanctions/invest X dollars in your economy.MondoMorphic
- It is more about the US putting serious leverage on China..And China threatening NK and saying, this ends now.Hayoth
- And what leverage is that, exactly?detritus
- There's a lot of money to be made if North Korea opens up to the world.yuekit
- South Korea has no other way to ship goods over land except through North Korea so that alone would be huge business.yuekit
- +1 detritus and I feel it's an opportunity to shut the US (their main enemy) out of Asia's rise to dominance while the Trump shit-circus continues to distract.brandonp
- It's, the Trump effect, he's telling/showing other world leaders they can be rich and prosperous too and there is no need for war.robotron3k
- the deal here is china pushing against the military presence of the us in the region. peace in Korea means no more justification for us bombers down there.uan
- and they want to reach that by offering the Koreans possibilities for trade and access to the global market. +the whole infrastructure, development market.uan
- The leverage is China still needs the US for there economy. You think the trade war propaganda was for nothing?Hayoth
- Trojan Horse, for sure.ben_
- The 'trade war propaganda' is and was for perceived trade imbalances and Chinese distortions of WTO. Fuck all to do with Korea.detritus

Chinese Ships Spotted Illegally Selling Oil to North Korea by U.S. Spy Satellite
U.S. spy satellites have captured images of Chinese ships illegally selling oil to North Korea vessels on the West Sea 30 times in the past three months, according to a South Korean newspaper.

US preparing ‘bloody nose’ attack on North Korea
https://nypost.com/2017/12/21/us…
"The US is preparing plans to deliver a “bloody nose” attack against North Korea to knock out its nuclear weapons program."
- Let's hope they don't miss completely like the Syria airfield strikefadein11

North Korea says U.S. threats make war unavoidable on Korean peninsula
- robotron3k-13
The whole launch was sketchy to me and it seems the NK threat was more fake news...
An intercontinental ballistic missile that North Korea said could reach the "whole" mainland of the United States likely broke up upon re-entry into Earth's atmosphere, a US official said Saturday.
- Krassy2
How is North Korea able to launch a missile that travels 600 miles without being intercepted?
- my guess is it could be intercepted if need-be? Crazy it flew 10x higher than the International Space station... they can technically send these anywhere now.PonyBoy
- I think intercept effort needs to be "on call" basically. I think they need to a) have intercepting missiles in place, and b) be anticipating launches.mg33
- I might be wrong about that, but as far as I know, the US doesn't yet have ICBM intercepting missiles.
https://www.defensen…mg33 - So, they're almost ready, but they're for defending the US mainland. I doubt we have them in the Pacific (yet).mg33
- Such BS, missiles don't travel 2800 miles straight up, it literally would be out of oxygen and floating in space. Jeezez these guys lie worse than NASArobotron3k
- There robo is, our very own little retard with sub 50 IQ commentary.kona
- robo... you literally have no fucking clue what you're going on about... do you? Please report to the flat earth thread. :/PonyBoy
- (or... google 'how does an ICBM work'... 'we' most def can send suborbital missiles that high that return to earth w/precision)PonyBoy
- Guys, robo is a troll. Intentionally saying as much bullshit as he can muster, simply to get a rise out of us. Ignore him. Forever.FNP14
- 10x higher than the International Space station?? No way! Do you have proof of this ?Bennn
- Earth spins 1034 mph, NK launched rocket for (reportedly) 53 min flight - travels 2800 miles straight up, but travels only 600 miles distance. Such BS.robotron3k
- NK rocket travel at 15,000 mph should take only few minutes to get to 3000 feet and come back down. So I think it was only in flight for around 10-15 minutesrobotron3k
- and btw, the rocket was single stage and it was empty except for navigation, so I don't think they are any threat to anyone, but you girls can still be scared.robotron3k
