Help:Law Firm Boredom

Getting better, yes, I agree - a way to go yet.
I've done work for many law firms and as with any classically corporate or conservative industry, the temptation is to let that narrow track stifle your creative zing, but it doesn't have to be like that.
Something like this is as pure an exercise in the basic principles of design as you're going to ever get paid for in the real world.
Scrupulously selected and laid out type, with lots of space. A tidy, peppy headline face that's wearing polished shoes, and a sturdy rhythmic body face - the pictures should be something and nothing - the usual bullshit - dramatic shots of classical court building architecture, something abstract about the field - but muted, monotone, probably - the greatest weight and contrast on the page should be the anchor of the headline, and the seamless cascade from that into the body.. Lots of space, let it breathe, and let the page breathe - if it's crowded into the space it'll look like a noisy imposter rather than a delightful poetic visitor. Sweat and toil over rivers and rags and leading and letter-spacing.
Start there and work outwards, rather than starting with a page, then trying to fill it with the content.
A great improvement so far, though, excellent.
