I've lost all my daughter photos on iphone 5 after it broke unexpectedly today morning. I am totally broken by this fact. 7 m of her life everyday from the first day diapered.
I didn't keep them anywhere else.Do you have any idea how to get back the data?

Dang. That sucks. I can't help but moving forward the best thing to do would be to sync all of your photos to dropbox or another cloud service.
I'm very glad I did!
- or just sync them to iCloud automatically like everyone elsemonospaced
- I have an android phone so dropbox works for me.d_rek
- waiting for "he said he had an iPhone 5"dMullins

Don't they transfer your data when you get a new phone?

Maybe it's backed up on your iCloud-account?

did you never plug the phone into your pc / mac?
they will be able to retrieve them, maybe a fee

geniusbar is sorry, but "we can not help you"...
last chance jailbreaking.

Considering backups are automatic (wireless) and free, I'm surprised you never took advantage. Sorry to hear, bro

That's rather shitty. I know it's a kick in the teeth but from now on... Get that icloud turned on!

> broke unexpectedly
> I didn't keep them anywhere else.Yeah because if you expected it to break you'd have backed them all up right before it broke.
Only got yourself to blame.
And without knowing how it broke we can't help you.
- it was full, i had only 60 mb leftkasparius
- that's relevant why?animatedgif

If you have you phone hooked up to a computer they should all be on there?
- mekk0
What stoplying says, maybe its just the screen that broke and you can still connect it to your computer and back it up..

have a look in settings - see if you have icloud switched on. I'm pretty sure its a default thing.
failing that try iphone explorer http://www.macroplant.com/
you can use it to open up the phone (no jailbreak needed)

Have you never synced up with iTunes? There's an option there to backup photos/movies.
- Used to be local storage. Don;t know if that's still the case or just iCloud.ETM
- it's still the case, you can use both if you want to be redundant, toomonospaced

if you didn't put any new data, the photos should still be in the phone's hdd, there's no such thing as completely gone, I wish I knew a recovery program to help you out but don't despair, your photos should still be on the drive.

- If you have kids you realize you always think of that sort of simple thing at the worst time.ETM
- Then when you have a moment, it never comes to mind.ETM
- a friend has a gazillion of pics of his children from day one all backed up multiple timesernexbcn
