just now on CNN.
http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/25/wo…"It is not permissible to travel to Mars and never to return if there is no life on Mars. The chances of dying are higher than living."
Taking one's life willingly is against Islamic principles.- Suicide isn't exactly cheerily-embraced by Christians either..detritus

Wow, that's quite a video, I'd love to spend the rest of my life in a confined space with her.
Maybe this isn't about the scientific achievement and the history, maybe it's just about getting rid of 100 cunts.

Not according to Sun Sheikh Bandar al-Khaibari Saudi cleric.

Yeah. No one is planning to go through with the mission. Why have a mission when you can instead milk the idea for a few years, profiting off another silly "reality" show, until people lose interest and the show gets cancelled. Pretty clever idea, actually.

Why not shoot them all into the sun?

A season two would be great - The whole crew sick of living in a tuna can, DEPRESSED and PLEADING, CRYING to return to earth.
No sponsor is going to attach themselves to that.

Season 3:
People have started to notice the voices, slowly a message is being incepted into their subconscious, initially only a few of them heard it, immediately dismissing the message..
some were more affected than others,
Ram Stieglitz the astrophysicist was the first to ask to come back to earth, he plead with mission control to send a rescue mission, which was promptly denied.
soon others followed,
the voices not only affected them mentally but also physically, arms were twitching up and down, walking was more goose like and they started to slowly lose their skin and hair pigmentation,
"WHAT IS GOING ON!" asked mission control,
but none would say what the voice told them,
until one day Maurice Giraud the french baker and Candy Bush the american pole dancer started humming the message at loud,
first two, then four, soon the entire compound was humming the tune of life, the tune of love,
The mission was soon abandoned after this and until now, nobody have ever heard the audio
this is what mission control heard:
"Hitler did nothing wrong"
- Because you don't like good short stories, I just sold it to michael bay!!GeorgesII

MIT says they'll start dying as from day 68.
which is cheerily accurate

I've talked to a nasa guy, and he said the reality is that we can't even get there alive

^ Yeah. They're not sure about all the radiation. They think an aluminium shell might block only have the radiation from penetrating the hull. They're researching other materials to add as shielding but they need to be light weight, effective for a 9 month period and work with the aluminium.
They estimate as much as a 40% chance of getting life ending cancers from the exposure on that trip.

guys no worry,
they are going to use the same radiation shield that protected the guys that went to the moon,no worry m8
- ...sure. Feel free to research radiation belts in our solar system before another stupid comment.ETM

I film for a living so on daily basis we do into an unknown territory and try to build from nothing so i'm very familiar with the psychology of doing something "outside the box."
This is the same shit i deal with every day. I get an idea or the director gets a "crazy idea" and then every technician on the set stars chiming in why it will not work, the producer chimes in why it will not work from financial point of view, etc etc. Then when we finally go and do it everything seems fine... All is working, everyone is happy and shit gets done. Truth is people get stuck in their old ways very quickly (even when young) so you will have always an army of experienced "nay" sayers. Yeah, filming a silly commercials isn't exactly rocket science but the basic psychological principle is the same.
