I've posted this before... but with no response. :)
Some friends and I have been working on this app and I'm looking to get some feedback from true indie music fans.
The general idea is a radio station made of upcoming indie music concerts, filtered by city.
Currently it's Chicago only, but still a good way to find new music. We should have Pitchfork up very soon. :)

Major Lazer is Indie Music?
the app looks good! :)

thanks! forgot to mention the design really hasn't been touched — all focus has been on functionality up to this point.

Who is feeding the content? is it semi automatic from a database fetch tinghy or is it finely hand curated?

You should consider ad space (well curated and designed ads) because I could see that thing taking off easily.

hand curated by a music-loving friend. we built a cool admin interface to easily create shows, add bands/songs, etc...
similar apps that use a feed usually end up with a bunch of garbage you have to skip through.

I really like the idea.
I would find it hard to understand what it was if you didn't explain it before. The link to the location of the gig gets a bit lost.
Perhaps a more overt button for "buy tickets now". Shouldn't the location be in the lefthand column?

the url's are next on the list and should be done this week... they'll be something more like:
http://showshow.fm/chicago/empty…
the number will just be that show id. if you go to a link without a show id:
http://showshow.fm/chicago/empty…
it would filter the playlist to chicago shows at only that venue. :)

venue URLs ready:
http://showshow.fm/chicago/empty…full-screen button added.
