Looking at getting a big screen to hook my macbook up too.
Any recommendations for a decent non apple screen?
Working using my projector is cool but not productive!

OK, I just got myself Dell u2713h couple of weeks ago. Great monitor overall. A couple of issues though.
1. For macbook you need to buy an apple adapter for around $100.
2. Sometimes I get blue squares overlapping when a video playing.
3. Sometimes it goes into power safe mode for now particular reason, and there is no easy way to return back .Besides that I really love this monitor. It improved my productivity tremendously. Once you go to 27 or higher there is no coming back.

Just got Dell's 30". Amazing. It is true, once you go big you don't look back.

I was looking at the Dell UltraSharp U2913WM right before.

The Dells suck. A guy at work got one instead of our usual cinema displays. He only had bad things to say.

the old Apple Cinema 30-inch HD Flat-Panel Display is cheaper than that dell here

My printer, who I would say is one of the best printers in the New England area, uses Dells in their color/retouching area. The head of the color department swears by them.
I have an NEC which has been great.
- you need to be more specific because they make a whole range of displaysmonospaced
- I dont know the models. Of course they're high-end IPS displays. I assumed the poster is not as obtuse as you can be and would do a little research. The mention of Dells was in response to the negative comment above.Josev
