Hey guys, i've been looking at Amazon Glacier. It's a bit cloud type archive that is pretty cheap.
What do you do to keep all your old design stuffs safe?

Local NAS and cloud. After files/project are 3 years old without being touched, moved off to physical media in a fire safe.

I don't save anything. If I need something I just recreate it from scratch. And if you can't be arsed to do that then maybe you shouldn't be in this business, hack.

for the long run: i keep 1 computer with old system and all the software plus peripherals for each generation. like the umax clone and zipdrive or g3 and bunch of cds, etc. because pure data would become widely unaccessible. sounds maybe bulky but regarding the amount of work it's not much stuff. the alternative way would demand conversion of tons of files - i'm not up to spend time on this.

I cycle between (2) 2TB drives every three months dedicated to work, music and movies.
Work is archived by year dating back to 2002. A while ago I spent some time and got rid of all the crap (unnecessary files) from way back when to help save space.
I use Dropbox for my most recent stuff.
I also wear a fanny pack which I use to carry an emergency Flash drive, Bacos bacon bits, Crackers and other delicious snacks to help keep my energy levels high while I work.
