How much would you charge a smaller gallery for a show card? They might want to make posters too.
I don't usually do such small print projects. It is just a 5x7 card double sided for now and will be printed offset.

A X B - C
A: Your Hourly Rate
B: The Amount of Time you think it will take
C: Any discount you think is required if AXB seems ridiculous for this scale of client.

chances are, you like the job more than they want drop money on it.
My guess is that if you say $300 they might get scared away...These things are fun to do, but usually don't pay much. And there's nothing wrong with that if you like the project.

I'd do it for cheap, just want to get a feel for what you people would ask. I mean some people think jobs should cost $20, and others are afraid I'll charge thousands.
Do you people have a minimum if the client doesn't offer a budget?

do it for an artwork trade, or possibly something they can offer you, like using the space for a photo or video shoot! They have things other than $$ to offer, and their budget is peanuts usually anyway....

+1 on Vaxorcists idea.
If you do your own artworks/posters/photos then wangle some art space to show it off.
