Hellow QBNers,
If any of you have an iPad 2, could you load
http://www.nikdaum.com/photograp…
and see if it crashes the browser. It works on ipad 3 finally(most of the time), but crashes ipad 1. Seems like some issue with my jquery script. But as long as it works on iPad 2 and up, I'm fine with it.Thanks,
N

type is teeny tiny but didn't crash on ipad 2
- yeah I think the photos could be sized better/bigger too? in landscape mode they were only 1/2 the top of the screen or sosublocked
- exactly, make'em responsive or target ipad width, otherwise it loses me a littleprophetone
- It crashes if I make them scale to the width of the ipad. Not sure why, as the images are the same size.nikdaum

Thanks for the feedback all. I'm a little bamboozled why when I change the code to get the images to fill the whole width of the browser it crashes on all iOS devices. But if I have the viewport scaled to .5 it doesn't. I'm guessing it is a memory issue of some kind, but my old version that was controlled by some jquery didn't have any issues. Annoying.

Would changing the doctype give different results?

@nikadaum can you get something else going with CSS instead of script? ...maybe max-width and using clipping properties?
Have you read the responsive design PDF by a list apart? It discusses all of that in there.
