Your best recommended way to get a high rez still from a video clip?

  ...I've got the .mov files & know about importing into PS (Photoshop), setting the workspace to Motion (PS 5.1) and 'scrubbing' through the clip to get what I want, BUT—I also have the FinalCut Pro files...is there a way to get an even better still image from FinalCut?
