Most of the leather ones I've had last 2-3 years, bought a tweed one from a department store a couple of years back and its still going fine so far.

I got a nice Polo wallet and after a month all of the plastic cards broke through the magnetic stripe. I can't believe a company like Polo wouldn't have a good quality control for such a design flaw like that. I only had 3 cards in there and they all got damaged.

Anyone ever try one of those J. Fold slim wallets (like this one - http://www1.macys.com/shop/produ… Can't tell if it's really slim or not...
- it is thin - lasted ≈ 1 yr - fabric seams at the bottom of the pockets started rippingtimeless

I carry mine in my front pocket as well. I have this exact wallet. Made of Tyvek. It's super thin with a lot of pockets.

I've been using a business card holder as my wallet for the past decade or so... I should get a new one.
mg33, I've only ever carried my wallet in the front pocket, I don't know why, maybe I fear pickpockets.

@mg33 - I carry it in the front too. Just got the Johnston & Murphy wallet I ordered from Zappos. Really nice quality, but their "Super Slim" model was just as thick as my current Boss wallet. Sending it back. The search for a real slim front wallet that holds a decent amount of cards/bills (no change) continues.

Anyone only carry wallet in a front pocket?

Quick poll: do you need a coin pocket in your wallet? Also, how many people don't even carry bills anymore?
