I have been using an Epson Stylus Photo 1290 for some time, but the cartridges are getting rarer and more expensive. Can anyone recommend an A3 printer for general printing and presentations?

I have been looking at the EPSON Stylus Photo 1500W, and also the Epson Workforce Pro WF-7015 A3

Is your Epson getting flaky? i.e. EPSON = Eventually Printing Something or Nothing?
I've had 3 epson printers, 2 of them have required lots of tweeking and babysitting and often print blanks or just sit there...
If it's dodgy, I'd get a Canon, my Canon just works....
Or is your 1290 simply harder to find ink for these days? if so, Continious ink systems are cool!

I'm looking for a new all-in-one wireless dealy, but I'm on the fence between Epson and Canon. Canon seems favoured in the ratings I've seen online, but I've had problems with them in the past.
Can anybody recommend a good one for a freelance designer? (Hopefully not too expensive!)

Printers need a revolution. Who the hell wants to buy ink and toner in 2012?

We also use the Epson 1290. The one thing I don't get (well... I do... it's called "cash in"), is the need for the 1290 to have the extra colours, e.g. the magenta followed by a "light magenta", cyan followed by a "light cyan", etc. What a stitch up.
- And why is the yellow tank not three times as large? That one always seems to go first...detritus

I got burned by Canon last time around, so I'm going with this one, I think. >>> http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Sto…
- Just reading the reviews on this one, and seems it isn't too good printing images.Hue
