Context is a poster. Which on is right, would you even care if it was wrong?

I don't get it. It's what you'd say. Well, it's what I'd say anyway :S
I know grammar doesn't always match up with what you /say/ but I can't imagine ever seeing this anywhere and finding myself thinking "Wow. They are pretty dumb."

There are two ways of looking at this.
1. Do it the right way which yes, as everyone has said is: Saturday, December 20th
2. Do it differently for effect. So just write anything you want: Saturday the 20th of December? Sure, why not. Saturday the 20th day of December?
Whatever man. If it's for a poster, have some fun with it. If it's for your CV, do it properly.

I do :S
Maybe it's a regional thing here...

if anyone has membership to the Chicago style manual, we can settle this once and for all.

If you are wondering what the Chicago style manual is, it is a ridiculous compendium of proper grammar and writing structure.
