it's a big place, with a huge variety of stuff and cultures to see. what to recommend depends very much the kind of trip you want... and how long you have.
plan it yourself definitely

If it's soon Id fly to London because its the cheapest route from the states. few days there, maybe venture out to the new forest or something. Then get the Eurostar to paris and spend a few days there. Fly to Florence from Paris and then get the train down to Rome. Rome to Madrid then back to the states from there.
If youre here in summer, hit Ibiza or south of france too
- Ibiza is so done. Croatia (Havr Island) is where it's at!goldieboy

England is awesome obviously, but if you are coming here try and do it in the summer. The weather is bad at the best of times, but you'll enjoy London (for example) at lot more during the summer months.
- Summer = months? Good one!Fax_Benson
- that's crap. London is shit in the summer. Hot stuffy smelly and full of foreigners. much better in spring/autumnhans_glib

How long you coming over for and what time of year?
If it's with the Mrs I'd say Paris then trip down towards the south of France. Take in Lyon and the Alpes on the way and ending up in MonteCarlos is never a bad bet.
- +1 France is a good shout. Central too so you can hit spain/germany/italy etc from there23kon

Denmark is happy. Paris is swanky. London is cool but pricey.

If you're heading to the UK, you have to go to Bilston; very cosmopolitan with a great market.

yup, going with the mrs. And it's more of a couple-romantic trip. I'm on first stage so still have no idea about time of year and length of trip (Next Year) Sorry for being vague...
Are there any reliable sites I can check? A few of the ones I've seen look very suspicious...
