Hey all,
I'm looking for a comp presentation tool that could support traditional digital file formats like JPG, SWF, PNG, MOV, GIF. It would be ideal to have an internal multi-user CMS to upload, edit and post updates; Then provide a simple trimmed url to be viewed externally with no edit capabilities by the client/shared user.
It doesn't have to be super robust... just clean, fast and easy to use really.
Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers!

don't overcomplicate things. you just described html and an FTP client.

This would be for 150 people to use simultaneously in an agency setting. An additional 30 externally.

this could be a consultant's 6 month project... wait, the 90's are over(!)
ok... seriously, the 150 users... how many can upload end edit? just one? or many? are there levels of approval? beware that systems specs often tend to reflect internal politics more than actual technical needs....

Totally understand. Most agencies have something that has been created and patched since the late 90's, and it's just time for something new.
Hey if i'm shootin' in the dark here, good to know that there isn't a new industry standard. Sounds like someone has the opportunity to get rich off the patents and royalties of creating and selling it. It's needed by everyone I've personally talked to today.

So far TBWA's Projeqt and Basecamp are doing it right. Wish Source Safe wasn't so out of date and pricey...
