You'll probably never find a place that has Jamaican-style ginergerbeer, but if you do, ask for a "Moscow Mule", they're spicy and delicious. (not the same with normal gingerale)
gin
jamaican-style gingerbeer
squeeze of lime

I'm Irish so I may be biased... But if you want to drink like a pro.
Jameson on the rocks. with a cheap beer.. I usually go with PBR or High Life. By the time the ice in your drink melts you'll be chugging that shit. Clean, hard-hitting, smooth irish whiskey.

makers and diet is cheap, has only around 80 cals and you can still keep your balls while catching a buzz

Fernet + Light Coke. The perfect equation.
You can drink a bottle and next day go to work.

good tequila (reposado or añejo)
lime juice
club soda
ice
wedge of lime(basically a modified tequila press, sans simple syrup - gets you buzzed with no wicked hangover from the sugar)

If you don't like it, don't drink it, most alcohol is detrimental to your health, besides the occasional lower alcohol content beers which are high in protein and other goodies. If you feel like you need to drink for social reasons, yet you don't drink or consider yourself s drinker, I suggest you find yourself new social situations, as peer pressure, self or crowd induced is never a good reason to do anything.
- ah man lighten up, it's good to join in for a drink or two, even if you're not a drinker.inteliboy

Was having a boozey brunch with the wife on Sunday and was sitting next to a guy drinking a bloody mary. As he finished sipping it, he began eating the stalk of celery; nothing strange here, but then it happened..... He finished the stalk of celery, then got up and left. I look over, and there are 4 skewered olives sitting in his now-empty glass. Who the hell eats the celery, but leaves the olives? Mind. Blown.

my advice, drink at least 2 -3 beers before arriving.. that way, you have a solid base from which to build your alcoholism
