HHAHAHAH though, the garlic darlic made me guffaw.
I thought last night's doctor who was even more pants than the lasts eason. They've mutilated the dalek narrative to a mulchy pulp of little no sense or dramatic tension. What they really should have done was to re-invent the entire concept of daleks around their core attributes, but moving away from the fact the design of the daleks was created in the early 60's (?) at a point where all they could do was to have people sat in chairs on wheeled decks, so they could make the heads turn round and the sink plungers wobble menacingly. I could redesign a dalek in a single afternoon in such a way that it retained the typological details but was a truly fucking fearsome war machine worthy of contemporary viewers.
Then all they have to do is stop fucking about with the idea that they're defeated, extinct, then suddenly back again, and with a planet for 'mad daleks' which they are incapable of managing.
Its fucking rubbish.
I don't know why I'm so angry about that fact. I've never been a Doctor Who fan anyway, and what's more I'm 42 and its mainly for 7 year olds.

I too am 42 and found this weeks Dr Who program a brilliant excuse for stopping building shelves and watching it with my kids, just in case there was a scary bit. It was as good as i'd hoped but i did find the souffle maker very easy on the eye. You win some, you lose some.
