I wonder what the square footage is on that like 350sf ?
- probably more like 185sf now that I think about it.SrSamaurai
- And the bed is next to to the stove now that I look closer.********
- This could be worth it for someone but I can tell you it wouldn't be worth it for me at all.SrSamaurai

why not look thru a broker and find what you want. you can easily find a large apt for the same price in Brooklyn manhattan or where ever.

The reason New York is expensive is that the rich people want to kick out the other races from their neighborhoods, so they hike up the prices so that only the rich white people can afford to live there.

- its called Gentrification********
- that's impossible to domonospaced

most new Yorkers eat out. so it doesn't matter where the bed is. there is endless things to do outside of the apartment.
I'm wondering are you not even in NYC just looking for an excuse to find the smallest apt on craigslist to complain about it. because that is what it sounds like.
- waterhouse0
The apartment does't look that small.
And, I'd say all New Yorkers love being eaten out.

If I can make it there. I'll make it anywhere. It's up to you.

This apt. is way overpriced for NY, for Brooklyn and anywhere you look you'll find some apts. that are overpriced.

- Whereabouts exactly? Prospect Park is a VERY big place. I have a two bed on Grand Army Plaza for 2450 per month. We lucked outnylon

People make good money in New York. Landlords want that money, and spike up prices until people will no longer pay. Supply and demand.

If your choice of life isn't all about making a lot of money, stepping on other people's heads and feeling like you're at the top of the world... I'd suggest you stay out of cities like NY or London.
- futuremongolian0
A. because every monied asshole in the world moves to New York after they graduate from art school.
- CygnusZero40
Just a lot of work opportunities so the area is very crowded and they can just charge whatever the hell they want, people will pay it.
You can go pay $600/mo in Florida for a VERY nice 3 bedroom apartment with a balcony if you like, but not a whole lot of work around there for designers.
- OSFA0
^ exactly what Cygnus said... except the $600/mo. I live down here and I've never seen anything this low... unless you're talking about shady hoods...
