  I posted a topic yesterday for something and got a lot of responses. Now I need to find some metaphors for people that think on their own, live their own lives outside of the norm, people that don't conform, integrity, that sort of thing.

  The only example I can think of offhand even though it's a song and I'm writing a story, is A Crow Left Of The Murder by the band Incubus. That phrase always stuck with me. A murder is common word for a flock of crows, so the crow to the left is the one that flies on his own. Good metaphor.

  So hard to think of this stuff when you just sit here trying so hard to come up with something. Probably the type of thing that just hits you when it feels like it.
