I need a word, preferably a single metaphorical word for the circuitry of the brain.
I thought about the word powerlines (or is that 2 words?), although they aren't really used for delivering data or information, not in the traditional sense anyway like a cable line would deliver information. They just deliver energy I believe so not sure it works, unless I'm wrong about that.
Is there any other words out there that could be used as a metaphor for the brain, but more the actual circuitry in it? Not looking for any words that are too silly or anything noones ever heard of.

Yep, wiring is the one. Awesome, thank you. Such a simple word, but is what I was searching for.
