  The UK wrote a letter to the Ecuadorian government threatening that they would "assault" their embassy in London...

  Ecuador's foreign minister, Ricardo Patino, used the words assault.

  He also said that Ecuador was not a colony of the UK and that colonial times were over.

  reading between the lines he was saying " how dare you threaten us, we're going to grant asylum to Assange just because you are total pricks"

  what would be awesome is if after all this time locked up in the embassy, he had actually got away weeks ago .. and everything is standing around out the front for nothing.

  He has to get to the airport to fly to Ecuador today. He is holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy. He has to get from the embassy to the car without being arrested. This is getting exciting! haha

  I liked this idea from someone on Twitter. Hundreds of Wikileaks people go into the embassy, then walk out at the same time all wearing Guy Fawlkes masks. Assange slips away never heard from again.
